Terms and Conditions

For booking

  • Please provide at least 14 days notice for catering of your event.

  • A deposit is required when finalising your menu, it is not refundable when cancelling your event within 7 days notice.

  • Number of guests being catered for is to be confirmed 7 days before your event. After this time full payment on the agreed guests will be required.

  • Please pay the remaining balance on the same day as the receipt of the food.

  • Please respect reasonable hours on calling to book

  • Please provide me time to create your menu once the first enquiry is made, as all of our menus are bespoke.

  • Please make me aware of any allergens/dietary requirements up to 7 days before a private catering event

Allergens and insurance

Lillys Kitchen Essex is fully insured for the shop, in house dining, takeaway and private catering.

Lilly has a diploma in food and hygiene as well as a level 2 NVQ health and safety certificate according to HASSAP.

The Punch Bowl is registered as a food premises and is annually visited by a health inspector according to regulation.

Lilly’s Kitchen last visit has 5 stars in hygiene for kitchens at The Punch Bowl.

All frozen meals state when they are made and all ingredients printed on them, allergens highlighted in bold.

Allergens:

Although we take great care to keep our kitchen extremely clean and follow all rules of HASSAP, we produce all of our food in the same kitchen so it is difficult for us to provide catering to those with trace sensitive/air borne sensitive allergens. Please make your allergen and the seriousness of your allergen aware to us before booking.
